Qualified and licensed air conditioner technicians

When something goes wrong with your AC, you must call the experts to diagnose and fix the problem. Repairing your aircon is not a do-it-yourself task.

To enable a technician to perform all aspects of work regarding air conditioning and refrigerators they must hold a Mechanical Services Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration License Queensland (QBCC)

When you have your air conditioner repaired by a licensed and experienced technician who understands and respects the safety protocols for residential and commercial applications, you can have peace of mind that your AC will be working at peak performance.

Additionally, a licensed electrician can carry out repairs on an air conditioner if they also hold a Mechanical Services Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration License Queensland.

There are three classifications that come with this license, which enable the holder to perform the relevant work or tasks aligned with the classification.

  1. Unlimited Design
  2. Limited Design
  3. Occupational

Limited and unlimited design licenses will allow technicians and electricians to undertake the following which comes under the regulation of ”Mechanical services work involving a relevant activity”.

What is a Relevant Activity?
